Richie Feelings Bottled for not Playing Iyara

When Beenie and Bounty were at their peek of musical war .. I can NOT recall incidents when selectors were beaten up because they didn't want to play one artiste song or beaten for playing too much of one artiste. So that gives an indication that the ongoing clashes between the Gaza and Gully is a different kettle of fish here. The Richie Feelings Episode is the latest in the saga to unfold. The former Stone Love sound system selector was recently bludgeoned over the head when a rain off bottles greeted him at the last uptown Mondays show ... on Tuesday morning of this week. It is known that Richie and other selectors in the business appear to play and show some preference for one faction over the other... and it appear that Richie had more "feelings" for the Gaza camp than the gully.

It is alleged that last week Wednesday at the regular Bembe show Richie was asked to play a tune or two from Iyara, this didn't materialised and apparently Iyara and his crew were not too pleased. On Monday of this week Iyara and is entourage came to Richie Feelings to play the tracks again... apparently the Alliance affiliated group was not pleased with Feelings behaviour and thus ensured that he felt their wrath when he was graced with a "nah look lick wid a bottle". The session disintegrated thereafter and the patrons at the event took their time and went home... but not before fleecing the bar of an item or two.

Since the incident Iyara and Feelings have expressed their feelings about the incident. Iyara, naturally has distanced himself from the allegations... whilst Feelings seem to be taking it in strides and is willing to move on, obviously with greater precaution hereafter.
