Why Kartel album Flopped? ... ROFL

Vybz Kartel is the most popular dancehall artiste in Jamaica right now according to a poll conducted by the so called intellectual ghetto aka UWI, Mona... facilitated by Dr. Donna Hope. Besides this, Vybz kartel managed earlier this week, since the release of the 'Pon Di Gaza album', ..managed to sell just a measly eight... yes 8 ..copies. One can only conclude a few things here.... 1) all who say gaza is as broke as f...,
2) the empire fans are as mean as the devil him self,
3) the fans already got copies of all the songs on the album,
4) they had no clue that the album was out..
5) they merely just follow the hype with a few key strokes only.
If i should put on an online poll im sure that Portmore Empire fraternity would take it..I have done it before and it was been proven that alot of the nowadays kartel fans are also behind the computers. So kartel not making spit from the album with that kinda sales .. and it appears he not making a dime from the success of the hit track "Ramping Shop". The tune is still getting rotations and is on the charts, but due to rights issues with Neyo's management re the use of the misindependent rythm -Neyo and his peeps eat all the food. Indications are that Kartel is not getting anything on the writers credits either ..he is not getting a drip from that hit track except for relatively good exposure.. and that exposure did not filter down into album sales thus far.
The teacha is still taking advantage of his popularity though and taking steps to at least improve the quality of his marketing. There is a new video out for the track 'Yuh Love' ... one can see the difference with tacks like "virginity' and "teenage pregnancy"

Kartel was scheduled for a show along side Bounty Killer in Trinidad this weekend but reports are that the Trinidadian immigration is not in favour of the Ground God to enter their country at the moment, however they allowed Kartel. One is not too sure as to what's happening there. The bloggers are making comments, saying that Trinidad only believes in only one God and they are not putting anymore Gods before him/her... that the Trinidadian immigration perhaps are saying Gaza?.. whilst some are saying that its the Rum on Killers breath... and chances are his court cases in Jamaica may have something to do with it as well..
We hope things impove for the big man hereafter where that is concerned.

  3. I would go in the 4th category, didn't know the album was out.

I just know the guy has a new song a day on youtube.
How does he find time to do shows, when he's recording a song EVERY DAY. . .
