Just on the heels of the release of Twins of Twins Stir it up volume 8 the Gaynor twins are preparing to release the music album version of stir it up Volume 8 - Trial and Crosses.
The twins were in the news recently after they were taken into custody by the police for 'reasonable suspicion for fraud'. It is alleged that they took money from a young artiste with the promise to facilitate the artiste to travel to the United States to perform .. Things did not go according to plan and the artiste requested for the return of the money ..said to be in the region of about JA $50K (US $565), earlier this year and is said to have been reported in February of this year to the police. The twins were arrested in late June in the Half-way-Tree area.
According to reports the twins had denied the allegation saying that they received only JA49K from the artiste for a dub plate as well as for dealing with a visa application fee. Since their arrest and subsequent release the next day they had indicated that the money was returned to the artiste and blamed their busy schedule for their inability to deal with the artiste appropriatly. It took the presence of their lawyers for their release, as their claim of settling the matter with the artiste fell on the deaf ears of the cops. Even with the statement from the victim himself saying that matter was settled was apparently rejected by the police ..who reportedly were mocking and jeering the Twins using their bits from their CD's ... indicating that they should understand because they are intelligent ..etc
Oh boy.. I dont know..the situation seem strange because there were speculations that how come .. the feds took soo long to act until the guys released their "trial and crosses" CD and that it seem as if that whosoever got burnt on that CD was perhaps part of the driving force behind the moves to have Gaynor brothers indicted. The Twins claim that they were unaware of the warrant for their arrest since about February, rather strange. Even with the appearance of the victim to give a statement to the feds in favour of the Twins were rejected ...even more strange.
Well the twins have indicated that they will definitely be putting this incident perhaps on their next Stir it up Volume 9.. yeah now the joke is on them...they should go hard ...on this one..

Im not sure if any of it will be on this music album that they will be releasing at the end of this month.. but it would be good though
