More Albums to Come ...Buju Diss the President?

There are quite a few albums scheduled to be released between now and the end of the year and a lot of artiste will be keeping their fingers crossed that things will improve in the global economy and thus leave customers with disposable incomes to even purchase an itune or two. Cherine Anderson one of the most talented and beautiful artiste in the business has released an EP called "The Introduction DubStyle.."

There was a report stating that the American rap star Nas being a relative of Damian Jr. Gong Marley (son of the great Bob Marley) will be working together once more to release a collaborative album. Nas and Jr. Gong worked on the previous album "Road to Zion" in 2005. The two made announcement last week according to reports to call the album "Distant Relatives" and also made announcements of a multi continent tour. The album is scheduled to be released in June of this year.

Speaking of albums we have seen quite a few already dropped this year and much more to come. Terry Linnen will be releasing his album on the 15th of April, and it is being described as one of the most anticipated. hmmm.. got to wait and see here .. hope it turns out well for him

Jah Cure recently released his 5th album at the Cable and Wireless Golf Academy... the album called 'Universal Cure' is expected to do well when released in the United States on the 14th of April. ...
One expects Cure to do well.. by his standards even with the depression on due to rough times ..im sure listening to 'Universal Cure' would help in some way or the other to help lift a spirit or two..

Sizzlas New Album 'Ghetto Youth-ology' is also set to release by the 21st of April ..despite a few personal setbacks ..including the cancellation of his recent tour in Canada.. the cause of which is still a bit uncertain.

Serani is expected to release a album before the end of the year .. already the man from the Daseca and Alliance camp is doing well alongside the high riding Mavado...with his fat single "No Games"
Serani four album deal was signed off earlier this year with Universal Records Universal Republic... after some sceptics were insinuating that the deal did not take place.. this was squashed recently when Mr No Games ..got a rousing welcome from co-president of Universal records Avery Lipman earlier this month cementing Serani's relationship with the company.

Not to be out done the ole gargamel Buju Banton will be releasing 'Rasta Got Soul' by the end of April ... Rasta Got Soul had been a working in progress for the pass seven years... therefore we expect to get some quality stuff from the big man... Though out of the lime light these days Buju still raises a few eye brows when he speaks... on a show recently Buju described President Obama as a "P*ssy" ..apparently showing his disgust at the slow pace at which the Obama administration is making things happen..
That's a bit too far ..him diss the president still .. not nice Buju.. but you can be forgiven for this one if this album is sweet as it ought to be.

  1. I love Buju. His music is great but dissing the president and then later on challenging bob marley's legacy? Hmmmm, he going a lil bit too far for me. Cant blame him for being outspoken and speaking his opinions though.
