There are allegations that there is some amount of tension in the alliance/gully camp after an alleged altercation between Mavado and Foota that lead to one man in the Cassava Piece Community (home of Mavado's Gully) being shot and killed by the Police.
According to reports Foota Hype (alliance selector) has denied that there are frictions between the two, where rumours were being circulated that there was a fight between Mavado and Foota Hype, man got thumped in the face and boxed and all these things.
Foota has stated that there is no truth to the rumours in a recent Star report, squashing the matter in its tracks. Foota according to the report describe the allegations as "..an illusion, nutten like that neva happened. There was some incident with the police and a civilian but nothing with Mavado and Foota Hype".
These allegations of tension between Foota Hype and Mavado came after Foota Hype and other persons were severely beaten earlier this year by patrons at a show in Westmoreland. This was due to the no-show of Mavado and a number of other artiste. One is not quite sure if there is any connection here as the allegations are that Mavado in recent times have not been taking calls from Foota.
Well it is good to hear that this is not true because Mavado don't really need this right now with his hype going so well at the moment with his tracks being selected as BET new joint recently as well as a number of sold out shows across the united states. The album sales are a bit slow but are expected to pick up as soon as the artiste goes further into mainstream.
But the thing is why would it come out like that... as if there was tension.. only time will tell as to whats rally happening.
He's a good singer so that's a sorrow that he has been wanted by the police because according some magazines he has made some corrupted movements, OK well I have to read more in order to know if that's truth.
